Loyalty Card terms and conditions

Terms and conditions for the prize draw organised by the Town Centre Steering Group, 1-4 Market Walk, Driffield, East Yorkshire, YO25 6BW.

Prize draw

  1. Discover Driffield Loyalty Card holders will automatically be entered into a monthly free prize draw on presenting or scanning your loyalty card with a purchase at any of the participating Driffield businesses displaying a window sticker advising Discover Driffield Loyalty Card accepted here. Discover Driffield Loyalty Cards can be presented or scanned with purchases at all Driffield participating business up to 4 times in any one day at each individual business. One winning Discover Driffield Loyalty Card number will be displayed on Driffield Town Council website and Facebook page at the end of every month. The winning number will also be available from Driffield & Wolds Weekly and Great Driffield Radio. No details will be kept for individual Discover Driffield Loyalty Card owners it is the responsibility of the winning card holder to claim the prize.
  2. The monthly prize is Discover Driffield Gift Vouchers to the value of £50, these can be spent in any of Driffield’s participating businesses by the expiry date displayed on the vouchers. From time to time additional prizes may be donated by participating Driffield businesses.
  3. Winners must be over 16 years of age and resident in the UK.
  4. By submitting Discover Driffield Loyalty Card numbers with your purchase at any participating Driffield business, the participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. In entering, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
  5. The Town Centre Steering Group reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions and reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw or competition.
  6. The winning Discover Driffield Loyalty Card number will be randomly selected by computer at Driffield Town Council Offices, 1-4 Market Walk, Driffield, YO25 6BW before 5pm on the last Friday of the month.
  7. After publication of the winning number the holder of the winning Discover Driffield Loyalty Card number must present the winning Discover Driffield Loyalty Card to a member of the Town Centre Steering Group at Driffield Town Council Offices to claim the prize.
  8. If the winning card holder does not claim their prize by the 21st day of the month following publication of the winning number being displayed then the winner’s prize will be rolled over to the following month and forfeited.
  9. The prize (Discover Driffield Gift Vouchers) are non exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is available nor will change be given if the voucher is not used to its full value.
  10. The Town Centre Steering Group will not take responsibility for any lost, damaged or defaced vouchers – replacements cannot be issued.
  11. The Town Centre Steering Group will not take responsibility for any lost or damaged Loyalty Cards. A new Loyalty Card can be collected from Driffield Town Council.
  12. If you are a winner, the Promoter (Town Centre Steering Group) may request you to participate in any publicity or promotion organised by the Promoter including promotional photographs.
  13. The winners names will be available for four weeks after the draw date by sending an SAE to Town Centre Steering Group at Driffield Town Council 1 – 4 Market Place, Driffield, East Yorkshire, YO25 6BW.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
  15. In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions, the conduct, results and any other matters relating to this prize draw, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  16. Insofar as is permitted by law, Town Centre Steering Group, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Town Centre Steering Group, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Data protection and publicity

  1. The Town Centre Steering Group is committed to protecting and respecting your Privacy. No details will be kept for individual Discover Driffield Loyalty Card owners. Personal information will only be collected from holders of the winning numbers and winners names will be destroyed 4 weeks after the last draw. Your personal information will not be shared with any third party.
  2. By entering, you agree that any personal information provided by you when claiming any prize may be held and used by the Town Centre Steering Group or its agents and suppliers to administer the draw.
  3. All our prize draws will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
