Annual steam rally

One of the highlights of our year is the annual Steam Rally, held at the Driffield Showground every August. This event features the popular town centre road run on Saturday evening.

 It’s a fun-filled weekend for families, steeped in nostalgia for steam. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, including a wide variety of steam engines and fairground rides, making it a perfect outing for all ages! 

What is there

The trade area boasts a vast array of stalls, and we also have an indoor craft hall along with a selection of food stands. Additionally, there are many other activities to see and participate in. 

Hundreds of vintage and classic vehicles will be on display at the Driffield Steam Fair

Road run

On Saturday evening, people line the streets to see the steam engines make their way into Driffield town centre. It’s always a very popular and well-attended event.
