Run by Stella and her family, the shop is a welcoming space for discovery – whether you’re picking up everyday essentials, exploring new ingredients, or simply chatting about food and flavour. The cheese, wine and provisions are sourced from carefully selected, trusted/local suppliers and importers – with a focus on artisan quality, sustainability, and provenance. You’ll also find a thoughtful selection of locally made products – including honey, beeswax wraps, small-batch artwork, and beautiful handmade pottery. Occasionally, beautiful locally grown flowers and vegetables/herbs are available to buy. Low-waste packaging is used wherever possible, and every product has been chosen with care for its flavour, its story and the suppliers ethical practices throughout the supply chain.
More than a shop, Stella also hosts occasional Stella Socials and Supper Clubs – relaxed pop-up events that bring people together over food, wine, and local beers.
As you stroll down Middle Street South, look out for the hand-painted windows and simple seasonal displays. Whether you’re new to the area, just visiting, or have lived here for years, you’ll be greeted like a neighbour and encouraged to try something new.
