Whether you’re a novice or have prior experience, Micklethwaite Studios provides immersive one- and two-day stone carving courses. Under the guidance of Alan, a former Head Carver at Lincoln Cathedral and author of Restoration Stone Carving, and Tracey, a Royal College of Art graduate, students delve into the intricacies of relief carving, letter cutting, and sculptural techniques. Courses include all materials, tools, and refreshments, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
The studios also serve as a creative hub for bespoke commissions, including memorials, house signs, and architectural restorations.
